🐾 Former Hamas "Prince"
Good morning, readers!
We’ve made it to the end of the week. Last time we did this, war erupted. Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself this weekend.
Meanwhile, we got a rare peek into the mind of “The Green Prince,” the son of a Hamas leader who spied for Israel.
Today’s hotspots
From terrorist to Christian: The former “prince” of Hamas breaks his silence.
Meet Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas co-founder turned Israeli spy, a convert to Christianity, and a vocal critic of the very terrorist organization his father helped create.
Here’s his background and key points from the above exclusive interview with FOX & Friends.
🐾 The prince.
Yousef was born into a prominent Hamas family. His father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, was one of the founders and leaders of the group.
Yousef grew up with privileges and power but also witnessed the brutality and hypocrisy of Hamas up close.
🐾 From prince to traitor.
In 1996, Israel arrested Yousef and he spent a grueling “year and a half” in prison, witnessing Hamas ruthlessly kill fellow Palestinians for their own agenda.
It was during this bleak period that Shin Bet, the Israeli intelligence agency, extended an offer: spy for them or rot in jail.
Yousef agreed to become a double agent, code-named “The Green Prince.” For a decade, he provided information to Israel that helped prevent suicide bombings, assassinations, and other attacks.
🐾 From silence to speaking out.
Yousef rarely speaks to the media but decided to break his silence amid the latest escalation of violence between Israel and Hamas.
In his interview with FOX & Friends that he despises Hamas and its Iranian backers, who use the Palestinian cause as a pretext for their religious agenda.
🔎 He said:
[Hamas doesn’t] care for the Palestinian people. They do not regard the human life. (…) They are using Palestinian people as a human shield.
🔎 Regarding the nature of Hamas:
Hamas is not a national movement. Hamas is a religious movement with the goal of establishing an Islamic State.
🐾 Should we send aid to Gaza?
As the US gears up to dispatch humanitarian aid to Gaza, skepticism abounds.
Critics fear that Hamas, far from being a passive recipient, might hijack the aid for their own ends. Given that Hamas has a firm grip on the region, it’s virtually impossible for any aid to slip through unnoticed or untouched.
🔎 Yousef believes:
As of now, sending any aid is a mistake.
🐾 Is Iran funding Hamas?
Yousef has also disclosed that Iran funnels a staggering $1 billion to Hamas annually.
When you’re on the receiving end of a billion-dollar yearly inflow, you’re bound to dance to the tune of the benefactor.
Hamas does not serve the Palestinian people. Hamas serves Iran.

“JUST IN: Pentagon Comments On Recent Drone Attacks On US Troops In Iraq And USS Carney In Red Sea.” (YouTube)
Navy ship shoots down missiles from Yemen.
The USS Carney is not here to play games. The guided-missile destroyer intercepted three cruise missiles and several drones that were fired.
Culprit: Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Target: Fired from Yemen, “possibly aimed at Israel.”
The Pentagon said the ship acted in self-defense and to prevent a regional conflict.
✱ NOTE: The slogan of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels is,
God is the greatest, Death to America, Death to Israel, Cursed be the Jews, Victory to Islam.

State official quits over Biden’s Israel policy.
After more than a decade of working on arms sales at the State Department, Josh Paul decided to call it quits over President Biden’s unwavering support for Israel’s retaliation on Gaza.
He couldn’t take it anymore.
Paul said he had made many moral compromises in his career, but this was the last straw. He felt he had no chance of influencing the US policy that he believed was causing more suffering for both Israelis and Palestinians.
✱ NOTE: Paul’s resignation sent shockwaves through his colleagues, who rallied behind him in a wave of support—thus revealing the deep-seated frustrations of many officials advocating for Israeli restraint and civilian protection.
🇨🇳 China:
“China investors sell the most securities, stocks and bonds in 4 years.” (YouTube)
US assets dumped by China in record numbers.
The US Treasury revealed on Wednesday that China sold off $21.2 billion of US stocks and bonds, in August this year. This is by far the most they checked out in four years.
Reasons: A mix of slowing Chinese economy, geopolitical tensions, weakening Renminbi, etc.
Effects: Selling these assets and converting the proceeds into yuan helps prop up the Renminbi.
✱ NOTE: The US bond market is also under pressure from global investors, who are pushing the 10-year Treasury yield to its highest level since 2007.
🇨🇦 Canada:
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mélanie Joly.
Canada confirms its 41 diplomats have left Canada.
Canada’s diplomatic presence in India has been slashed by more than half after India accused Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of meddling in its affairs.
Context: Trudeau previously alleged that Indian agents were behind the murder of a Canadian citizen last June.
Victim: Hardeep Singh Nijjar, an Indian-born Canadian Sikh separatist leader. He was associated with the Khalistan movement, which seeks to create an independent Sikh state in the Punjab region of India.
India denied involvement and demanded “parity” in the number of diplomats in both countries.
✱ NOTE: Australia’s spy chief backed up Trudeau’s claim and said he had no reason to dispute Canada’s allegation of Indian involvement.
